Shepherds Bush Housing Group

360 Design Studios were appointed to design and develop Shepherds Bush Housing Group's relocation strategy.

SBHG relocated from four remote sites into one unified workplace and were keen to ensure that this relocation and consolidation opportunity was designed to support both their staff and residents' needs. 360 created flexible working spaces and business functions across 23,000 sq/ft of new space to support staff and resident integration.

Regular meetings with management, staff and residents during the design process allowed all requirements and wishes to be considered. This has lead to a significant investment in their ‘front of house’ space, ensuring that their residents are comfortably, efficiently and sensitively managed. These areas now include private interview spaces, internet and telephone access, children’s play area and a therapy and wellbeing suite.

Staff now enjoy their own break-out areas and the open plan working spaces have been designed to achieve better inter-team and resident integration. Flexible meeting spaces cater for both formal gatherings and internal/external training requirements.

“360 were a delight to work with on many levels: the intelligent understanding of our brief; the attention to detail; the excellence of their design and the sheer quality of the finished product. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation”  said David Blackburn, Director of Human Resources & Business Support, SBHG.
